OOAK #5 Gradient

This subtle purple to bluish-purple gradient is dyed on Iron Dragon’s fun sport weight 2-ply Dream base:

● 50% merino, 50% bamboo (viscose)
● 262 yards (240 meters)
● 100 gram (3.5 ounce) hank

OOAK (“one-of-a-kind”) skeins use up leftover dye or are experiments that didn’t work out. Waste not, want not! You’ll still receive a full-sized skein of lovely hand-dyed yarn.

Dream is plump, bouncy, squishy, and super soft, with sheen reminiscent of silk. Working with it is literally a dream: it glides over hooks and needles with ease.

Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, breathable, and when combined with merino wool makes projects that shine!

Once worked up, you’ll have a fantastic fabric with excellent drape and wonderful stitch definition. The yarn is a great option for both warm and cool weather projects. Try it on blankets, shawls, wraps, ponchos, mittens, toques, sweaters, cardigans, and more!
