Mini: Mithril

Yay for minis! Mithril is light as a feather and as hard as dragon scales. This silver colorway is dyed on Iron Dragon’s versatile 4-ply fingering weight Journey base:

● 75% fine superwash merino, 25% nylon
● 92 yards (84 meters)
● 20 gram (0.7 ounce) hank

Journey is perfect for socks! Finespun wool adds extra softness while the nylon content brings even more strength and resiliency to the yarn to make your handmade socks last. Nylon yarn is not just for socks though! It’s also perfect for scarves, gloves, shawls, ponchos, tops, and even beanies, cardigans, and tank tops.

Items that experience a lot of wear and tear will benefit from this 4-ply yarn. More plies mean longevity: less pilling, less strand breakage, and less thinning. Plus, those plies mean you’ll see excellent stitch definition!

Although superwash yarn can be machine washed and tumble dried on low, for best results wash items by hand and lay flat to dry.
